MedStar Medical Group is seeking an organized, service-focused Office Coordinator to support the daily operations of our orthopedic physician practice. In this role, you will help create a positive experience for patients while supporting the administrative, billing, and financial processes that keep the practice running smoothly.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily administrative and financial activities while serving as a backup resource for other administrative positions within the practice.
Act as a patient advocate by responding to billing and collection questions, addressing concerns, and communicating with the billing company to support a positive patient experience.
Review encounter forms for accuracy and completeness, resolve coding concerns with providers, and ensure information is properly communicated for billing.
Oversee cash balancing, daily deposits, end-of-shift reconciliation, and audits of staff activity within the Practice Management System.
Partner with the Practice Administrator to implement policies, streamline workflows, support patient portal activity, monitor performance, and improve practice efficiency.
Minimal Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
One to two years of medical-office experience.
Medical billing experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions, remain organized, and interact professionally with patients, providers, and colleagues.
Basic computer skills; previous leadership experience is preferred.

USD $23.65 - USD $42.03 /Hr.
