Job SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for checking in drivers for deliveries and pickups, completing required paperwork and data entry, and coordinating communication between drivers and warehouse personnel. This position supports the daily administrative and operational activities of the warehouse.Key ResponsibilitiesCheck in drivers arriving for deliveries and pickupsVerify delivery and pickup information and complete required paperworkPerform accurate data entry of shipment and driver informationCommunicate professionally with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departmentsAssist with coordinating daily office and warehouse activitiesMaintain organized shipping and receiving documentationEnsure information is entered accurately into company systemsAssist warehouse personnel with scheduling and shipment coordinationAddress basic driver questions and direct them to the appropriate personnelFollow all company safety and operational proceduresPerform other administrative and warehouse duties as assignedJob RequirementsPrevious experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse administration preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood computer skills and accurate data-entry abilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively with drivers and warehouse personnelAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProfessional and customer-service-oriented attitude
