Office Engineer Needed

Infra Tech Engineering, LLC is actively seeking an Office Engineer to work on Highway and Bridge Inspection projects in Elmsford, Westchester County, New York (NYSDOT Region 8).

Responsibilities:

·Provide engineering support for projects in various stages of design, estimating and construction.

·Assist Estimators with analysis of proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

·Tracking and managing change orders.

·Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures and Keeping up daily work tickets.

·Support Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules.

·Maintain construction files and logs.

·Receive review, forward and track status of submittals and change orders.

·Initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute RFIs.

·Update construction schedule based on project team input.

·Track and inspect material deliveries.

·Assist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports.

·Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.

·Assist in project close-out.

·Maintaining Redline as-built drawings as work is completed.

·Tracking, maintain and managing of project issues and Log.

·Tracking, maintain and managing of project Dunning letters.

Requirements:

·3-5 years of directly relevant experience.   

·Familiarity with the preparation of daily reports in accordance with the Manual for Uniform Record keeping (MURK) is required;

·Previous NYSDOT experience and knowledge of specifications and standards are preferred;

·Must be detail oriented, and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

·NICET III/IV, ACI, EIT and OSHA -10 preferred.
