ROLE OVERVIEW

CornerStone Staffing is seeking dependable Office Equipment Setup Technicians to assist with a setup project at the new Houston Methodist Centennial Tower.

This is a hands-on project supporting the setup and preparation of equipment within the new facility. The immediate need will involve placing and securing new TVs onto existing TV stands. Additional office equipment setup projects may become available as the facility continues preparing for operations.

No medical equipment installation experience is required. This project is focused on TVs, office equipment, technology, and general setup support

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and place new TVs onto existing TV stands.
• Assist with setting up monitors, computers, phones, workstations, and other office equipment as assigned.
• Move and position equipment according to project instructions.
• Assist with basic cable organization and workstation setup.
• Use basic hand tools when necessary.
• Follow setup instructions and directions provided by the onsite project lead.
• Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work efficiently with other team members to meet project timelines.
• Communicate any equipment or setup issues to the project lead.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with office moves, furniture installation, equipment setup, warehouse work, general labor, technology installation, or similar hands-on work is preferred.
• Comfortable performing physical and hands-on setup duties.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift, move, and position office equipment as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working as part of a team in an active facility/project environment.

NO MEDICAL EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This position does not involve the installation or setup of medical equipment. Candidates do not need previous hospital or medical-equipment experience to be considered.

PROJECT DETAILS

The initial project will focus on installing new TVs onto existing TV stands and is currently expected to require approximately 4 hours of work. Additional office equipment setup projects are anticipated as the new tower continues preparing for operations.
