Open Eyes Vision Center is looking for a driven, organized, and people-focused office lead (management assistance) with excellent customer service skills to support our doctor in creating outstanding memorable patient visits. This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys people- helping them feel welcome and comfortable understanding their healthcare benefits and eye care needs. Providing outstanding patient care is our goal!


What You’ll Do:

• Focus on the day-to-day operations of our established optometry clinic
• Make patient scheduling and insurance verification part of your daily preparations
• Interact directly with patients in the clinic, from check in to check out
• Learn to verify and explain insurance benefits to patients 
• Patiently work with patients to help them understand their health care costs
• Become a master at verifying medical and vision benefits
• Learn to perform and train every staff role within the clinic
• Prepare weekly clinic performance reports and data as needed
• Ensure every patient enjoys an efficient, welcoming, patient-centered experience
• Earn performance-based bonuses

What We’re Looking For:

• Customer service superstar who creates outstanding experiences for patients
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills – you know how to keep the plates spinning
• Previous medical clinic or front desk experience preferred but not required
• Computer experience and aptitude to learn new software
• Spanish speaking is a plus (not required)
• Salary based on proven experience and qualifications

Schedule:

• Full-time five days per week
• Saturdays are required – our busiest clinic days
