JOB SUMMARY:The Office Manager is responsible for operations leadership resulting in improved patient satisfaction, increased clinical and professional revenues, improved staff efficiency and reduced costs. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:The West Ashley Office Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees both clinical and front office, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing staff complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities also include being an expert for all scheduling policies, inclusive of training, optimizing schedules and phone call management and etiquette. Assists with any patient clinical issues and works towards a satisfactory resolve. Greet patients, company representatives, caretakers & transportation providers. Serve as first level responder for patient questions and complaints. Addresses walk-in patients and respond to scheduling inquiries, prescription/records pick-up, etc. Generate wait time reports and identify solutions to address.
