Job Description:
New office administrative role combining office management and executive administrative responsibilities
Office management duties include facilities coordination, maintenance issues, supplies ordering, visitor coordination, and event planning
Executive administrative duties include calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangements, expense coordination, and preparing meeting briefs/summaries
Requires basic computer skills (especially Excel), strong written and verbal communication, and ability to interact across all organizational levels
Preferred qualifications: ~1 year of administrative experience and an associate degree; equivalent experience accepted, SAP skills a plus but not required
Open to early-career candidates (0 3 years experience) with strong learning ability; frequent job changes may be a concern during resume review
Role is expected to be full-time (Monday Friday, 8 5, ~40 hours/week) but may initially offer flexibility or part-time options (e.g., ~30 hours/week)
Office currently has ~30 employees, with future expansion planned to Clay, NY by 2029 (role remains Syracuse-based for now)
Onboarding includes brief orientation followed by hands-on training; basic proficiency expected within ~2 4 weeks and full fluency within ~60 days
Interview process planned as a single panel interview with Peter and another admin or office manager
Bachelor s degree candidates may be considered overqualified, but strong admin experience within budget remains a prioritye
