Veterinary Hospital Manager – Clovis Pet Hospital Serving the heart of Clovis for over 30 years Clovis Pet Hospital, a well‑established small‑animal practice with a 30‑year legacy in the community, is seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to support daily operations and lead our growing team. Our hospital includes a dedicated 3‑DVM team, skilled support staff, and a visiting board‑certified surgeon every 4 weeks, offering excellent exposure to advanced veterinary medicine. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast‑paced medical environment and is passionate about supporting both people and pets.

Compensation & Schedule • $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience • Full‑time, 40 hours/week • Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Alternating weekly schedule • Biweekly payroll

Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and high-quality client service • Lead, train, and support front‑office and support staff • Manage scheduling for doctors, technicians, and administrative staff • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards • Support HR functions including onboarding, performance documentation, and staff development • Assist with financial processes such as invoicing, deposits, and inventory coordination • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for clients and patients • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and leadership to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a medical, veterinary, or healthcare setting • MBA degree preferred, but not required • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment • Comfortable working around animals and supporting a veterinary care team • Proficiency with scheduling, workflow management, and administrative operations • Experience with veterinary software (Cornerstone, AVImark, etc.) is a plus
