West Sound Workforce is assisting a locally owned painting contractor in sourcing an Office Manager for their small but busy office. Serving residential and commercial customers throughout the region, this established company is known for quality workmanship, strong customer relationships, and a team-oriented approach to business.

Reporting to company leadership, the Office Manager will serve as the hub of daily office operations, supporting customers, employees, and vendors while managing administrative, payroll, and bookkeeping functions. Shift Information:
  • Full-time, onsite position
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • 32-40 hours per week based on seasonal workload
What you will do:
  • Manage daily office operations while serving as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees (phones, inquiries, routing, general support)
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and account reconciliation
  • Support payroll processing for a seasonal workforce of approximately 15–45 employees, including prevailing wage payroll
  • Maintain accurate financial, payroll, and employee records using QuickBooks and standard office systems
  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling, filing, bank deposits, supply ordering, and process improvement initiatives
What we are looking for:
  • Experience in an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant, or similar role with exposure to AP, AR, and payroll
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks for bookkeeping, data entry, and financial tracking
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
  • Professional, friendly communication skills with a strong customer service mindset (phone and in-person)
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
