Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the doctor and team members
- Lead day-to-day practice operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient care
- Create and maintain a culture focused on outstanding customer service
- Train, coach, mentor, and support team members to maximize performance and engagement
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees
- Monitor office performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, collections, and patient satisfaction
- Ensure the practice consistently meets production and collection goals
- Conduct team meetings, morning huddles, and ongoing staff development activities
- Manage employee schedules, compensation, benefits, and personnel records
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability across the team
- Support administrative functions, including scheduling, communications, and record management
- Assist with bookkeeping, reporting, and operational record-keeping
- Analyze key performance metrics and develop action plans to support continued growth
- Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dental office management or related leadership experience
- Strong understanding of business operations and management principles
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members
- Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment financing, and billing processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and solve problems effectively
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach
- Proficiency with dental practice management and office software systems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent management experience within the dental field
- Sales and customer service experience is a plus
