Our Scottsdale office represents clients throughout Arizona in a diverse range of complex insurance defense matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, construction litigation, commercial liability, insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation.

From high-exposure injury claims to sophisticated commercial disputes, our attorneys handle challenging cases that require thoughtful strategy, collaboration, and exceptional client service.

As Office Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting these litigation teams, ensuring they have the resources, organization, and operational support needed to do their best work.

Work Closely With Accomplished, Accessible Leadership

Our Scottsdale office is led by Sitar Bhatt, Branch Managing Partner, with regional leadership provided by Lynn Allen, Southwest Regional Managing Partner.

Sitar is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience in general liability, personal injury, professional liability, employment, and insurance bad faith matters. He also chairs the firm's Young Professionals Group and is passionate about professional development and collaboration.

Responsibilities 

• Reports directly to and supports Administrative & Legal Services Director and the Scottsdale Managing Partner
• Oversees support staff located in the Scottsdale office, including productivity management
• Assists with implementing new policies and procedures in the Scottsdale office
• Assists with the hiring process for support staff for the Scottsdale office
• Assists with the onboarding process for all new hires in the Scottsdale office
• Assists with training support staff as needed for the Scottsdale office
• Attends meetings regularly with Administrative & Legal Services Director and Scottsdale Partners
• Assists with facility management for the Scottsdale office, including office moves as necessary
• Assists with management of expense reconciliation for the Scottsdale office
• Plans and coordinates quarterly events for the Scottsdale office alongside the Administrative & Legal Services Director and Scottsdale Managing Partner
• Handles HR issues with HR Director and Scottsdale Partners and Team Leaders
• Administrative assignments from Administrative & Legal Services Director and Scottsdale Partners

Requirements 

• Minimum of 3 years of previous management/leadership/human resources experience
• Prior law firm experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
• Reliability and discretion while handling confidential matters
• High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
• Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Compensation Package 

• The base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - 95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
• Comprehensive benefits coverage offered, including plans available at zero employee cost (average annual employee contribution for health/vision/dental coverage is $700-1,700)

• Employees receive a monthly technology reimbursement of $60 
• Employees benefit from a 401(k) program that includes a 100% match on the first 3% contributed and a 50% match on the following 4-5%
• Vacation time is accrued annually at the employee's base rate
• Paid parental leave at base pay
