Mover / Coordinator – Office IT / Equipment Location: Washington, DC On Site M-F (Capitol Hill) – On Site M-F
Long term Temporary (24 months base period of performance with 4 option years). Potential to go perm.
Some Sat and Sunday hours may be required in December
Compensation: $21.23/hr. + $5.09/hr. Health & Welfare = $26.32/hr. (some overtime may be required during busy seasons)
Business casual (company shirt must be provided)
Qualifications: - Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check.
- Excellent customer service / ability to work with high profile customers
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, in a high passed environment
- Entry level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Minimum High School Graduate or GED with 1 year experience in asset management, logistics, warehouse operations, and/or inventory.
- Must be mobile and able to assist with moving or lifting items up to 75 lbs. Be flexible in working hours, maintain a professional appearance, and follow directions.
- Handle Client's property with care, promptly reporting any issues to the supervisor. Maintain a secure environment for warehouse and storage rooms.
- Perform warehouse and storage room activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA codes and safety regulations.
- Work independently on projects, exercise good judgment, and report progress, results, and issues to management.
- Safely and carefully transport company owned office equipment, and other related items/property.
