    Description

    The Dean's Scholar will hold weekly review sessions for students to help them achieve success in law school. The specific section, course, and professor will be assigned by the Office of Academic Success.

    The Dean's Scholar will report to the Director and Associate Director of Academic Success and will coordinate with the professor to whom they are assigned. The Dean's Scholar must comply with the policies of the Office of Academic Success and instructions given during the training session or in any subsequent communications.

    The Dean's Scholar will perform other such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

    • Ability to convey information to other students in various formats and learning styles
    • Proficiency in technology including email and Zoom
    • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Reliable and patient with students
    • Ability to work independently

    The schedule will be determined based upon the course schedule of the Dean's Scholar and the students, as coordinated by the Office of Academic Success. Generally, a Dean's Scholar will hold 2 sessions per week of the semester and will prepare sessions weekly at their convenience.
