We Are Hiring:

Location:  Salem, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group, clinic

Department/Specialty:  Salem Orthopedics

Schedule:  Days | Full-time | Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

What You Will Do:
  • Patient Intake and Care Coordination: Welcomed visitors, managed check-in/out workflows, and scheduled patient appointments to maintain an efficient clinic schedule.
  • Data Integrity and Compliance: Verified and updated demographic records while processing medical release requests in strict compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Insurance Optimization: Secured necessary insurance authorizations and precertifications ahead of time to minimize coverage denials and delays.
  • Revenue Cycle Management: Processed and submitted daily clinical procedure charges while managing point-of-service co-payments.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Balanced daily financial logs, processed credit transactions, and reconciled cash drawer deposits with high accuracy.
What You Will Need:

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences:

Prefer one year experience with Orthopedics
