ServiceMaster by GBS is looking for a reliable, organized, tech-savvy professional to join our office team.

This is an important position in a fast-moving restoration company. We help people when their homes and businesses have been damaged by water, fire, mold, and other disasters. Our office plays a major role in keeping jobs organized and making sure our customers are taken care of.

We're looking for someone with some prior office, customer service, or administrative experience who is ready to learn, take ownership, and grow with the company.

What You'll Do

• Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries.
• Provide professional and helpful customer service.
• Help coordinate jobs, crews, appointments, and schedules.
• Enter and maintain information in company software.
• Learn and work with multiple programs and systems.
• Assist with QuickBooks and other office/accounting tasks.
• Communicate with customers, field employees, insurance representatives, and management.
• Follow up on outstanding items and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Help keep daily office operations organized.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and see them through to completion.

Qualifications

• Previous office, customer service, administrative, or business experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience is a strong plus.
• Strong computer and technology skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and follow-through.
• Ability to commute to our Valley Stream location.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week

No on-call or emergency response required.
