Office Paraprofessional

Specifics

  • Ten-month position when students are in attendance.
  • Office Support Position: Monday - Friday, not to exceed 35 hours per week, with a half hour unpaid lunch.
  • Work schedule will be a normal schedule as provided in the HPPA Master Agreement.

Qualifications.

  • Applicants should have experience and rate high in the following areas:
  • Shall have at least a high school diploma.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good public relations skills.
  • Good attendance record is expected.
  • Ability to work around interruptions.
  • Ability to work with a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of students and staff.
  • Willingness to be trained in district medication procedures.

Duties.

  • Assist with student healthcare, including but not limited to administration of medications and basic first-aid.
  • Make attendance calls.
  • Ability to use Google Applications.
  • Ability to copy.
  • Ability to file.
  • Ability to look up information in database.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Act in the best interest of the school district.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • In accordance with the Salary Schedule - H.P.P.A. Contract.
  • Start Date: To Be Determined.
  • Reports To: Building Principal
