Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office & Personal Lines Manager to lead daily agency operations while managing and growing our Personal Lines book of business. This is a key leadership position that combines sales, customer service, and office management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of both client relationships and agency operations.
Job Responsibilities
Personal Lines Sales
Quote, present, and close new business opportunities across Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella, and related Personal Lines products.
Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
Quoting & Policy Processing
Prepare accurate quotes using carrier portals and comparative rating systems. Process applications, bind coverage, and ensure compliance with carrier underwriting guidelines.
Maintain complete and accurate policy documentation.
Client Service & Account Management
Handle policy changes, endorsements, billing inquiries, cancellations, reinstatements, and other service requests.
Deliver exceptional customer service and timely follow-up.
Conduct policy reviews to improve retention and uncover cross-selling opportunities.
Office Management
Oversee daily office workflow and administrative operations.
Maintain agency procedures and ensure efficient office organization.
Provide operational support to the agency owner and assist with agency growth initiatives.
Carrier & Vendor Relations
Coordinate underwriting requirements, policy issues, and service-related matters.
Maintain strong carrier relationships and stay informed on product and underwriting changes.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all client files and agency records are properly documented within the agency management system.
Maintain compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Required
Active Georgia Property & Casualty License
Minimum of 5 years of Personal Lines insurance experience
Strong knowledge of carrier portals and comparative rating systems
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a small, fast-paced office environment
Proven ability to sell, follow up, and close new business opportunities
Preferred
Previous office management, supervisory, or team leadership experience
Experience with agency management and rating systems such as PL Rater, EZLynx, HawkSoft, or similar platforms
Familiarity with both standard and non-standard insurance carriers
