Office Services Associate
Chatsworth, CA (onsite)
1+Month Contract
Seeking an Office Services Associate to provide office services support including high-volume copying, scanning, mail processing, shipping and receiving, document handling, and maintenance of multi-function printers. This role is responsible for ensuring office equipment remains operational, supporting customer requests, and maintaining service and supply areas.
Responsibilities
Operate high-volume copy machines, scanners, and related document production equipment.
Perform copying, scanning, binding, finishing, filing, archiving, and document management tasks.
Maintain and monitor Ricoh multi-function printers and convenience copiers, including refilling paper, clearing jams, conducting quality checks, and reporting equipment issues.
Operate image handling software, Microsoft Office applications, and email systems.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, fax transmissions, shipping, receiving, sorting, and distribution of materials and supplies.
Deliver completed jobs and materials to designated locations as required.
Maintain service logs, meter readings, inventory records, and billing documentation.
Respond to customer service requests and inquiries regarding job status and service needs.
Ensure copier and supply areas remain organized, clean, stocked, and operational.
Utilize bindery and finishing equipment including paper cutters, hole drills, shrink-wrap machines, tape machines, joggers, stackers, electric staplers, scales, and postage equipment.
Perform additional office services duties as assigned.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
Previous copy center, print services, mailroom, document services, or related office services experience preferred.
Knowledge of multi-function printers, copiers, scanners, postage machines, and other office equipment preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain records, inventories, and service documentation accurately.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, and perform physical activities throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to push or pull equipment on wheels when necessary.
