    Akerman is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Office Services Coordinator for its Atlanta office. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive office services support while ensuring exceptional service to attorneys, clients, and business professionals in a fast-paced legal environment.

    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and a strong service mindset. The successful candidate will actively assess information, adjust priorities in response to changing business needs, and consistently provide exceptional support to internal and external clients.

    Requirements:

    • Process, copy, print, scan, and distribute documents accurately and in the required format.
    • Create, organize, and assemble binders and presentation materials for depositions, arbitrations, trials, client meetings, and other firm initiatives.
    • Process daily incoming and outgoing mail according to department-specific procedures and requirements.
    • Operate and maintain the office postage meter, including monitoring and replenishing postage funds.
    • Coordinate and track courier, FedEx, UPS, messenger, and other shipping requests.
    • Maintain inventories of office, shipping, and departmental supplies; place orders as needed.
    • Set up and break down conference rooms and meeting spaces.
    • Coordinate with building management and outside service vendors regarding office maintenance and facilities-related requests.
    • Maintain and organize storage rooms, supply areas, kitchen areas, and common spaces.
    • Assist with office moves, furniture relocations, and workspace reconfigurations.
    • Provide backup receptionist coverage, including greeting visitors, answering and directing telephone calls, and assisting with front desk operations.
    • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of office services, facilities, administrative support, or related experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong experience with document production, mail operations, courier services, and general office support functions.
    • Ability to comfortably lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work product.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with attorneys, business professionals, vendors, and visitors.
    • Reliable, flexible, and adaptable in responding to changing priorities and business needs.
