Job Title: Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Onsite 5 Days/Week) Duration: Contract through 08/31 with potential extension and possible conversion to full-time
Pay rate: $25/hr on W2 Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST Pay Rate: Competitive (W2)
Position Overview
We are seeking a polished, customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees in a professional corporate office. The ideal candidate has prior front desk or administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
Manage the front desk and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
Order office and kitchen supplies, including coordinating Instacart purchases.
Keep office common areas stocked and organized.
Schedule and prepare meeting rooms for internal and external meetings.
Process invoices and reconcile company credit card expenses.
Validate guest parking upon arrival.
Provide administrative support to office staff as needed.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or similar customer-facing role.
Experience working in a formal corporate office environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with email marketing platforms or campaign management tools (e.g., Campaign Logic or similar).
Previous experience supporting a corporate office environment.
