We're seeking an organized and proactive individual to support the Store Director in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.     Job Summary: As a Store Director Assistant at Broulim's, you will work closely with the Store Director to manage all aspects of store operations. You will assist in coordinating department activities, implementing store policies and procedures, and providing leadership to the store team. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers and achieving store objectives.

    Examples of Duties:

    Assist the Store Director in overseeing daily store operations, including inventory management, employee scheduling, and customer service.

    Coordinate with department managers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.

    Provide leadership and guidance to store employees, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.

    Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and achieve financial targets.

    Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, such as sales trends, inventory levels, and customer feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.

    Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the Store Director when necessary.

    Conduct regular inspections of the store premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.

    Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports for senior management review.

    Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Director to support overall store objectives.

    Knowledge:

    Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service principles.

    Understanding of store policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.

    Familiarity with merchandising techniques and promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

    Skills:

    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions.

    Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.

    Abilities:

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively with a diverse team of employees.

    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Previous experience in retail management or a related field preferred.

    Knowledge of grocery industry practices and trends is advantageous.

    Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

    Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
