Russell Tobin's client is hiring an Office/Warehouse Associate in Indianapolis, IN

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Onsite - Indianapolis, IN 46239

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay rate: $20-$21/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare packing supplies, process export shipments, and follow temperature-handling procedures to maintain product integrity and support cold chain operations.
  • Refurbish reusable packaging, prepare gel packs and packaging configurations, and assist with customer packaging and replenishment needs.
  • Verify shipment documentation, complete replenishments, secure cargo space through Triose, and monitor on-hold shipments for export and delivery approvals.
  • Operate pallet jacks and safely move materials while supporting warehouse operations and maintaining compliance with safety procedures.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to personal and group email accounts and address follow-up requests in a timely manner.
  • Complete daily reports, update shipment information, conduct investigations, and maintain accurate records using internal systems and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Complete required training, maintain organized documentation, and perform additional duties and overtime as needed to support operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required, with less than one year of related experience; logistics, shipping, warehouse, or cold chain experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand English for interpreting labels, documentation, and detailed instructions.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Basic computer proficiency with experience in data entry, internal systems, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, follow established procedures, lift up to 75 pounds, and work overtime as needed.
  • Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments, including periodic exposure to refrigerated and freezer areas while balancing physical and administrative responsibilities.
