Description
Job Summary:
Monitors Security systems and performs duties of Officer Security when directed.
Shift Availability:
Grave Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs specific security duties as outlined by the Security Department policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all company assets as well as the safety and welfare of guests and team members.
Monitors all systems in the Security Office including but not limited to the fire alarm system, access control, surveillance, radio traffic, phones, email etc.
Enters Team Member information into the access and key control systems.
Maintains shift activity log and prepares reports as required.
Answers calls to security operations and the security podium. Will dispatch Security Department personnel as required.
Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures.
Handles patron's inquiries and complaints and will solicit the support of a Supervisor Security as necessary.
Performs as an Officer Security when directed.
Responsible for creation, issuance/tracking and/or replacement of Team Member Badges, Temporary Gaming Licenses and Visitor/Vendor Badges
Dispatches Security and outside emergency services to give necessary assistance to patrons, employees, and to protect the company's assets relative to fire, theft/burglary, assault and other security issues.
Works in partnership with the Surveillance Department to ensure protection of patrons, employees, and company funds and assets.
Issue, Track and Collect all Security Equipment as necessary, Radios, Flashlights, Keys etc.
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Lost and Found processes.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Casino security and dispatch experience preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
Ability to obtain and maintain license as required by jurisdiction(s).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organization and planning skills and ability to multitask.
Excellent knowledge of various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), Google Suite, CCure, iTrak, KeyTracer, Dallmeier.
Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, run, stand, kneel, stretch, push, pull and pull weight for a full 8-hour shift.
Regularly required to see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
Frequently required to stoop and kneel.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
