CNC Programmer (Mastercam)-Remote Contract/Project Role-1005

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with Mastercam expertise for a OFFLOAD CNC PROGRAMMING to support a project with one of our key clients. Our client specializes in manufacturing solutions across the aerospace, defence, space, clean technology, and high-precision commercial sectors.

This involves giving a time and cost estimate and being able to give a price for each project

Key Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam
Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining methods
Support multi-axis CNC machining (3, 4, and 5-axis where applicable)
Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality teams to improve processes
Ensure compliance with aerospace/defense quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer using Mastercam
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
Experience with multi-axis CNC machining preferred
Familiarity with aerospace/defense manufacturing environments is a strong advantage
Knowledge of tooling, feeds/speeds, and process optimization
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment
