We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Certified Offshore Riggers to join our offshore operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rigging, lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment and materials aboard offshore vessels and work sites while maintaining strict compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
Candidates must possess all required offshore certifications and be willing to work extended offshore rotations of up to three (3) weeks at a time, including 7 days per week aboard a vessel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform rigging and lifting operations in offshore environments.
Inspect rigging equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting gear before use.
Assist crane operators and deck crews during lifting operations.
Ensure all lifts are conducted safely and in accordance with company and client procedures.
Maintain compliance with offshore safety standards and regulations.
Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
Identify and report safety hazards, equipment defects, and unsafe work conditions.
Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and moving equipment and materials.
Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records for rigging equipment.
Work effectively as part of a team in challenging offshore conditions.
