Offshore Wind Technician

Position: Offshore / Onshore Wind Technician 

Job Description: 

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on wind turbines.
• Inspect and troubleshoot turbine components, including blades, generators and control systems.
• Use power tolls and hand tools to complete repairs and replacements.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• This position will work in both offshore and onshore environments.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a wind turbine technician or in a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in turbine maintenance
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
• Experience with generator repair is a plus
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions 
• This position requires a high level of technical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
• This position requires 100% travel to onshore offshore locations in the US.
