Offsite Warehouse Coordinator/Truck Driver

We’re looking for responsible Warehouse Coordinator/Truck Driver to join our Shipping and Receiving Department team for a Monday-Friday 8-hour shift with some weekend and overtime at our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway.

This position is responsible for offsite warehouse operations as well as the Ypsilanti location.  Also includes transport of materials via company truck and maintaining inventory levels.  The shift for this position is M-F during normal dayshift hours.  Off shift and weekends may be necessary as needed.

What You'll Do

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Coordinate with manufacturing all shipments needed to and from offsite warehouse
• Load and unload shipments transported to and from offsite warehouse, and staged at designated locations throughout the plant
• Identify and correct any deficiencies related to shipping or receiving
• Process paperwork associated with all materials transported to and from offsite warehouse
• Inventory tracking within Pollard systems at offsite warehouse
• General housekeeping
• Follow all safety and work policies
• Daily Inspection completed for vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure proper working condition.
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

·       Minimum of 2 years over the road driving experience in commercial trucking – CDL not required but preferred 

·       Material handling skills and experience

·       Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving sit down and stand up forklifts

·       Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and regulations

·       Must be able to work and drive in all types of weather

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to and over 40lbs
