Oil and Gas Litigation Attorney

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney to join a growing and well-capitalized practice with a strong presence in the energy sector. Our attorneys handle high-stakes energy disputes while working within a strong, reputable team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and certify oil & gas title opinions (drilling, division order, and acquisition)
• Conduct complex title analysis, including mineral ownership, leasehold interests, and curative requirements
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, leasing, and operational risk
• Support transactional matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, and due diligence
• Collaborate with landmen, in-house counsel, and business stakeholders on active projects
• Manage a consistent workflow of title and advisory matters with efficiency and precision

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar license in Texas
• 3+ years of oil & gas experience - litigation highly preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of mineral title, leasing structures, and curative processes
• Ability to manage high-volume workflows without sacrificing accuracy
• Excellent written and analytical skills
