On-Call Bartender – Omaha

Pay: $7.00/hour + tips

POSITION SUMMARY

WarHorse Gaming Omaha is seeking energetic, professional, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as an On-Call Bartender. In this role, you will provide exceptional beverage service while creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable guest experience for all guests. Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring all service standards and responsible alcohol guidelines are followed.

This is an on-call position with flexible scheduling based on business and event needs. Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards and recipes
• Provide prompt, friendly, and professional guest service at all times
• Take beverage orders and engage positively with guests to enhance their experience
• Promote and upsell cocktails, beer, wine, and featured beverage specials
• Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coolers, and work areas
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies as needed
• Monitor guest intoxication levels and take appropriate action when necessary
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, gaming regulations, and sanitation procedures
• Work collaboratively with beverage servers, barbacks, and other team members
• Attend required meetings and training sessions as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous bartending or high-volume customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and responsible serving practices preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required gaming and alcohol service certifications/licenses

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced entertainment environment
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

CERTIFICATIONS

• Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
• TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Awareness certification preferred or required upon hire
