This role is perfect for someone who has a flexible schedule and enjoys helping other.What You'll DoProvide Safe and Reliable TransportationOperate gasoline, diesel, or electric multi-passenger vehiclesConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and corresponding documentationMaintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle alwaysAssist ResidentsAssist residents with boarding, exiting, and secure transportation, including the use of wheelchairs, mobility devises, restraints, and tie-downs as appropriateSafely transport residents to scheduled destinations in a timely mannerProvide exceptional customer serviceSupport Community LifeCoordinate transportation schedules with Resident Services staffMaintain accurate transportation records and required operational documentationWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsFirst aid and CPR CertifiedValid CDL Class C with passenger endorsement and ability to obtain Oregon licensure as requiredSuccessful completion of mandatory ODOT drug test and physical examination is required.Qualities That Set You ApartApproachable and people-centeredFoster positivity and actively engage in daily problem-solvingExhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations. Equal Employment Opportunity StatementMennonite Village values diversity and inclusion and is committed to equal employment opportunity for all.
