Location: Des Moines & surrounding metro areasPay: $15/hour (on-call department)Growth Opportunities: $16–$20/hour (long-term placements)

Position Overview

As an on-call caregiver, you may work with:

• Children and families needing backup or short-term childcare
• Adults or seniors needing companion care, supervision, and daily support

Assignments vary based on family or client needs and may include daytime, evening, or weekend opportunities.

Pay & Advancement

• $15/hour for on-call caregiving assignments
• Opportunity to transition into long-term placements
• Placement roles offer higher pay ranging from $16–$19/hour, depending on experience, availability, and role type

Childcare Support May Include:

• Providing safe, attentive care for children of various ages
• Engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play

Qualifications
