On-Call/Part-Time School Field Trip Shuttle Driver

About the Role:
Creative Learning Academy Inc is looking for a reliable and friendly On-Call/Part-Time School Field Trip Shuttle Driver to join our team in Los Angeles, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a meaningful role in students' educational experiences by safely transporting them to and from exciting field trip destinations. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students and staff to and from school field trip destinations throughout the Los Angeles area
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure shuttle is in safe operating condition
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and passenger counts
• Follow all traffic laws, school transportation regulations, and company safety policies
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle in a safe and orderly manner
• Communicate effectively with school staff and coordinators regarding schedules and route changes
• Respond to on-call scheduling needs with reliability and punctuality

Requirements:

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial Driver's License Class A or Class B 
• Valid (P) Passenger and (S) School Bus Endorsements
• Current or ability to obtain a school bus/pupil transportation certificate as required
• Must pass a background check and DOT physical/drug screening
• Previous experience driving school buses, shuttles, or passenger vans preferred
• Patient, responsible, and comfortable working with school-age children
• Flexible availability to respond to on-call and part-time scheduling needs
