On-call Substitute School Nurse - SEC

Intermediate District 287 is looking for On-call Substitute Licensed School Nurse

Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 12 member districts in the west metro.

Position Details:

Location: South Education Center in Richfield, MN

To cover absences on an on-call basis

Local 2209 Licensed Salary Schedule A: $34.88 - $69.19 per hour depending on education and experience

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of requirements and graduation from an approved or accredited-Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• General Experience:
• Two (2) years of full-time experience or equivalent working with persons in an environment that provides broad familiarity with and understanding of the physical and emotional behaviors and challenges of children with exceptional needs.

Licensure Requirements:

• Incumbents in this class will be required to possess a current certification as an LPN/RN as well as First Aid and CPR
