HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.
This is a union-eligible position.
This is an On-Call position: shift hours and days vary as needed.
JOB SUMMARY
Acceptance Place offers residential treatment services designed to serve male individuals identifying as Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender (F/M) with substance use disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive services, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. This residential inpatient program runs 24/7 for 90 days. Acceptance Place offers Individual and group therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention.
SUD Counselor I's are responsible for assessing client needs and strengths in support of health and recovery. Through counseling in individual and group settings, delivering curricula in accordance with program specific requirements and case management, SUD Counselor I's assist clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, Licensure
Must be registered as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor or as an SUD Counselor with CA approved certifying agency (CCAPP, CADTP, or CAADE).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in health and human services, social work, psychology, or another related field preferred.
Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Possess a valid CA driver's license
Knowledge and Skills

Must complete a background check and Live Scan.
