Position Summary

This is an interest posting seeking qualified individuals to teach marriage and family studies classes in the areas of family relations, marriage skills, parenting, or the proclamation on the family as a part-time faculty member. Additional responsibilities may include advising students.

Adjunct positions are contracted on a semester-by-semester basis.

This position is an interest list for future adjunct teaching opportunities. Applications will be reviewed by the department periodically and all candidates will be notified by email if they are chosen to interview for a position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Master's degree in marriage, family, and human development, or family studies/family science is required. Related degrees may be considered with strong professional experience in teaching family studies content. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching is advantageous.

Work Schedule

Courses are assigned by the department chair.
