Description
Fulltime position
Must be able to travel throughout the sales territory, visit customers, receive and transmit customer orders. As a sales representative, you are responsible for achieving and exceeding goals for wine and spirits sales within your territory. Performs other duties as assigned.
This role will require account prospecting, relationship building, brand knowledge, product representation and exceptional customer service.
Applicant must be a motivated self-starter.
Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a weekly itinerary for all accounts with scheduled call back days along with corporate account calls.
Follow procedure and achieve all sales goals.
Develop, maintain and expand existing brands within the portfolio by providing extensive customer service, including making sales presentations, coordinating promotions, seminars and conducting product tastings and staff training.
Develop marketing plans and strategies to achieve long-term goals and opportunities.
Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
Work in conjunction with the office staff, warehouse, delivery, corporate office and Human resources to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude.
Attend all sales meetings promptly with enthusiasm.
Keep up with tracking goals and administrative detail.
Show professionalism in all areas at all times.

Carry out all phases of job responsibilities as directed by their sales supervisor.

Must be at least 21 years old.
2 years minimum outside sales experience in the beverage industry (wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred).
Good oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint …)
College degree preferred, however High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematics, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must possess a valid TN Driver’s license.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations.
Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years
