On-Site Construction Safety Rep

Position Overview

Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Temporary Safety Representative to support our safety program and ensure a safe, compliant work environment. This position will work closely with management, supervisors, and employees to promote workplace safety, conduct inspections, and help maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace safety practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site safety inspections and audits
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Assist with incident investigations and prepare reports
• Conduct and document safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Support employee safety orientations and training programs
• Maintain safety records, logs, and documentation
• Promote a positive safety culture among employees and contractors
• Assist management with implementing safety initiatives and procedures
