The On-Site Coordinator plays a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for new associates. This position serves as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first days of employment, helping ensure a smooth transition from orientation through their first day on the plant floor. The role also provides administrative support for onboarding processes and internal systems.
Conduct stay interviews with newly hired temporary associates to gather feedback and support associate retention.
Serve as the new-hire ambassador and primary point of contact during the onboarding process.
Welcome new associates during orientation and help create a positive first impression.
Prepare orientation materials, including sign-in sheets and other onboarding documentation.
Assist with badge creation and ensure new hire paperwork is completed accurately.
Escort new associates on their first day to the appropriate work locations and introduce them to their assigned supervisors.
Help ensure supervisors are prepared to receive and onboard new associates on Day 1.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and other onboarding reports as needed.
Provide general administrative support to the recruiting and operations teams.
Assist with additional onboarding and employee engagement initiatives as assigned.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable interacting with employees, supervisors, and management in a fast-paced environment.
Previous administrative, recruiting, human resources, or customer service experience is preferred.
