Mailroom Associate
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Pay: $16.00–$17.02/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Position Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Associate to support daily mailroom operations. This role is responsible for sorting and distributing mail, receiving and delivering packages, and operating mailroom equipment, including mail meters. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• Perform daily mail runs throughout the facility
• Receive, process, and deliver packages
• Operate mailroom equipment, including mail meters
• Maintain accuracy while handling mail and packages
• Provide excellent customer service to internal staff
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs. and perform extensive walking throughout the workday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
• Previous mailroom or copy center experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic mathematical and filing skills
• Ability to operate office equipment and technical machinery
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
