We believe the best ideas come from every level of the organization, and we foster a collaborative environment where every voice is valued.

About the Role

Our growing Managed Services team is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to join our Beaverton office. This is not a traditional project coordination role. We're looking for someone with a strong technical background who has hands-on experience implementing, deploying, or supporting IT infrastructure within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

The ideal candidate understands the technical side of managed IT services and can effectively coordinate complex customer implementations while serving as a bridge between customers, engineers, technical account managers, and sales teams. If you've worked as a Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Network Engineer, or in another technical infrastructure role before moving into project coordination or project management, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate multiple implementation and deployment projects simultaneously.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings while documenting key decisions, action items, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication between customers and internal technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Project Engineers to establish expectations and deliver successful implementations.
  • Manage project documentation, including Statements of Work, project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support change management planning and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and improve project processes and best practices for migrations and managed service implementations.
  • Coordinate training and knowledge sharing between technical teams.
  • Utilize corporate project management tools to manage resources, tasks, and project lifecycles.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established frameworks, documentation standards, and quality expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Minimum of 5 years of project coordination, project management, or scheduling experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to solve problems, manage deadlines, and build strong client relationships.
  • Experience with project documentation, scheduling, and process improvement.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued:

  • Server migrations and deployments

  • Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 implementations

  • Active Directory and Windows Server

  • VMware or Hyper-V virtualization

  • Network infrastructure, switching, routing, and firewalls

  • Storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

  • Professional Services or Implementation Engineering

  • Managed Services project delivery

Please Note: This is a highly technical project coordination role. Successful candidates will have experience managing projects and a strong technical background within an MSP or IT infrastructure environment.

Why Join POA?

  • Competitive compensation: $65,000–$95,000 annually DOE

  • Clear career advancement opportunities

  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Paid Time Off, Vacation, and Sick Leave

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

  • Ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development
