Job Overview:

We are looking for an expert-level OnBase Specialist to lead the administration, development, and optimization of our Hyland OnBase system. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in system workflows, integrations, and application development to support our critical business processes. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to design scalable solutions, ensure system stability, and address complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. OnBase System Administration & Development (Priority):

• Oversee OnBase system administration, including Workflow, WorkView, and API programming.
• Configure and manage document types, groups, AutoFill keyword sets, and data sets.
• Perform essential tasks such as password changes, sandbox creation, application packaging, and system upgrades to maintain operational continuity.

2. Workflow Design & Solution Implementation (High Priority):

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and design tailored workflows and WorkView applications.
• Develop custom solutions using OnBase Studio, Unity Forms, C#, VBScript, and JavaScript.
• Implement advanced document import mechanisms such as DIP/TIP, enhancing automation capabilities.

3. System Integration & Migration (High Impact):

• Lead migration projects, including content and metadata migration from FileNet to OnBase, ensuring minimal disruption and functional parity.
• Integrate Hyland OnBase with advanced tools like CCM and Brainware Intelligent Capture to enhance process efficiency.

4. System Monitoring, Optimization & Support (Ongoing Priority):

• Monitor and optimize system performance through proactive log analysis and issue troubleshooting.
• Manage user support, security profiles, and SLA-driven system changes.

5. Advanced Capture & Reporting (Enhancements):

• Configure advanced OCR processes for automated data capture and extraction.
• Design and develop detailed reports using OnBase Report Services, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• 9 -10 years of experience in Hyland OnBase architecture, workflows, and scripting.
• 2+ years of experience in Hyland WorkView and OnBase scripting.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures for data reporting and dashboard creation.
• Expertise in key OnBase modules such as Document Imaging, DIP, COLD/ERM, and Report Services.

Certifications (Preferred):

• OnBase Certified API Developer (OCAPI).
• OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA).
• OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA).
• OnBase Certified WorkView Administrator (OCWA).

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with new Hyland products, such as CCM and Brainware Intelligent Capture.
• Experience with Active Directory migrations, annual password change processes, and designing document relationships within OnBase.
• Knowledge of replicating workflows and document model designs to optimize content management systems.
