Job Title: Onboarding Coordinator
Pay: $25 per hour
Hours: Temporary assignment for 2 months

In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are set up for success right from the start. You’ll work closely with HR and Operations teams to deliver smooth, compliant, and engaging onboarding experiences that support employee retention and satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring data integrity through accurate data entry and self-auditing in HRIS systems
  • Communicating and collaborating with HR and Operations to enhance the onboarding process and providing regular updates on candidate status
  • Effectively communicating with new employees throughout the onboarding journey
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, including pre-employment medical and background screenings
  • Overseeing the completion and submission of required new hire documentation, including policy acknowledgments and guiding new hires on necessary paperwork prior to start date
  • Maintaining complete and accurate electronic personnel files, including I-9 verifications and personnel records
  • Conducting all HR functions in accordance with applicable laws such as EEO, OSHA, and FLSA
  • Staying current on employment laws that may impact onboarding workflows and compliance
  • Partnering with HR services to troubleshoot any technical issues during onboarding
  • Participating in meetings and managing assigned projects

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A High School Diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources, with onboarding responsibilities preferred
  • Knowledge of current HR policies, including multi-state employment laws
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based HR systems
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
