Onboarding Coordinator

Penmac Staffing is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to join our staffing team in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00PM. This position is a ten-month contract running from August through May, that is renewed each year. Pay will depend on experience. Benefits Package includes:

 What you’ll do:

• Assist applicants through the application process, ensuring all paperwork is complete prior to interviews
• Administer client-specific testing, drug screens, and background checks while maintaining confidentiality
• Screen applicants for work history and/or skills and update associate information
• Answer the direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, following proper telephone etiquette
• Provide information to applicants regarding application status and maintain documentation in company software
• Provide information by answering questions and handling requests in a timely and professional manner
• Update associate information such as tax forms, address and phone number and employment status (active or inactive)
• Maintain confidential records and files
• Perform other related duties as required

 What we’re looking for

• High School diploma or GED
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry
• Ability to enter data efficiently, timely, and correctly in order to meet deadlines
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team player
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to contend with a wide variety of people on various issues
