Summary:

  • Full Time
  • 5 days per week on-site

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires and rehires to ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health requirements, LMS & payroll system entry, background checks, and audit programs.
  • Facilitate communication between the Recruiting team and the Compensation & Benefits team.
  • Lead, manage, and support the design and implementation of the onboarding function.
  • Participate in the assessment and evaluation of current onboarding practices and redesign processes for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for executive onboarding and orientation.
  • Build reporting, provide insights for Talent Acquisition, and improve metrics and analytics.
  • Work on process improvements to reduce time to start for new hires.
  • Create and standardize onboarding processes and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding status and ensure complete personnel files.
  • Communicate with managers, candidates, and recruiters on outstanding background checks and health requirements.
  • Run and complete national background checks and make hiring decisions based on results.
  • Partner with stakeholders for an efficient onboarding process and manage small scale projects autonomously.
  • Provide reporting on onboarding metrics and perform root cause analysis on common issues.
  • Complete audits for compliance and implement recommended improvements.
  • May supervise work of Onboarding Specialists.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree required.
  • At least five years’ experience in a Recruiting Coordinator or high volume operations role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an operations or project management role required.

  • Demonstrable strong ownership and accountability skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
  • Project management skills required.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system; Workday experience a plus.
  • Ability to engage and nurture relationships with new hires.
