What You’ll Do
  • Provide specialized inpatient nursing care for adult and geriatric leukemia and hematology patients
  • Administer chemotherapy and blood products following strict infection prevention protocols
  • Monitor patient vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately with Rapid Response Teams
  • Manage IV therapy, central lines, PICC lines, and feeding tubes
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic charting system
  • Adapt to variable shift schedules including potential days, nights, or a combination, based on departmental needs

What You Need
  • Valid Ohio nursing license or compact license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS Chemo Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 inpatient hematology-oncology background
  • Proficiency in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and blood product administration
  • Strong infection control and fall prevention skills
