TEEMA is recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse for a direct-hire Oncology Infusion RN opportunity with a specialized outpatient clinic in Glendale, Arizona.

Direct oncology experience is not required; however, candidates should bring at least 5 years of nursing experience caring for patients in acute care or infusion clinic settings.

Compensation: $85,000–$90,000 annually
The Oncology Infusion RN will provide patient-centered care in a specialized outpatient infusion setting. This role involves supporting patients before, during and after infusion treatments while working closely with providers and the clinical care team.
This position is ideal for an RN who wants to move into a more specialized area of nursing, values continuity of care, and enjoys building professional, supportive relationships with patients and families.
Provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient infusion clinic setting.
Assess patients before, during and after infusion treatments.
Review labs and clinical information prior to treatment.
Monitor patients for changes in condition, side effects or infusion-related reactions.
Administer infusion therapies according to provider orders and clinic protocols.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptoms and supportive care.
Document assessments, treatments, patient responses, and clinical updates in the EMR.
Coordinate care with providers, medical assistants, pharmacy and other clinical team members.
Maintain safe, organized, and efficient clinic flow.
Follow infection control, safety, and medication administration standards.
Obtain chemotherapy certification within 60 days of hire.

Required:
Active Arizona RN license.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience caring for patients in acute care or infusion clinic settings.
Willingness to obtain chemotherapy certification within 60 days of hire.
Interest in a long-term outpatient oncology career path.
Preferred:
Prior infusion experience.
Prior oncology, hematology, ICU, Med/Surg oncology, emergency, dialysis, transplant or complex-care experience.
Experience with ports, PICC lines, central lines, lab review, patient education or infusion monitoring.
Current chemotherapy/biotherapy certification.
