The Med-Surg Oncology RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to oncology patients. Thisrole involves critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Salary Range:
$27.72 per hour (up to 5 years of experience)
$33.00 per hour (up to 10 years of experience)
$36.30 per hour (up to 15 years of experience)
$39.60 per hour (15+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials:
$3.00 for nights
$2.00 for weekends
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case-by-case basis)

Shifts Available:Days (7 AM - 7 PM) with rotating weekendsNights (7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekends
Patient Ratio: 1:5 - 1:6
Requirements:
1 year of recent RN experience (acute care experience strongly preferred, LTAC experience considered)
Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license)
Current BLS certification
ACLS certification preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
BSN preferred
Responsibilities:
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
Act as an advocate for patient safety
Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
