What Youll Do
Provide specialized nursing care to adult oncology patients with solid tumors, thoracic, and orthopedic oncology diagnoses
Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage IV therapies, including PICC lines and central lines
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret ABGs, and respond to rapid response alerts
Manage high-acuity patients using telemetry, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator support (CPAP, BIPAP, HFNC)
Respond to patient needs through procedures like tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and external airway management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and infection control protocols
Float within units of similar acuity as needed to support staffing demands
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, with at least 1 year in PCU
Basic Life Support (BCLS), ACLS, NIH certifications
Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac and PCA drips
Experience with high-acuity telemetry patients and infection control protocols
Preferred:
Experience with chemotherapy administration and management
Knowledge of wound care and advanced airway management
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
