What Youll Do
Provide specialized care to adult and geriatric oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapies, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other treatments.
Manage oncologic emergencies and cytokine release syndrome.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to clinical needs promptly.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures.
Document patient care accurately using Epic or other computerized charting systems.
Support and float within scope of practice as needed.
What You Need
Valid Ohio RN license or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
At least 1 year of PCU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Oncology experience and ONS Chemo certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Join a busy surgical oncology unit caring for patients with breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and reconstructive surgeries. The unit manages chemo, blood products, and oncologic emergencies, focusing on infection control and patient safety.
