What Youll Do
Provide direct nursing care to oncology and hematology patients, including those undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) treatment
Administer medications and therapies, including bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
Utilize Epic electronic health records to document patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor patient vital signs and reactions, responding promptly to emergencies
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and relevant certifications
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications
Prior experience in oncology, hematology, or transplant units
Strong clinical skills with experience using Epic EHR system
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment
